Hi! My name is Victoria.
I'm a software developer located in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. My technical experience is vast and varied, but my passion lies in simple software. When I'm not writing code, I can usually be found playing video games, writing, or binge watching M*A*S*H for the umpteenth time.
This site is largely a place for me to post various musings, ramblings, and other assorted writings. There is no theme—I just write what interests me.
I develop some apps for Linux's GNOME desktop.
I'm the maintainer of LuaGObject, the most up-to-date Lua bindings to GObject-based libraries such as Gtk and GLib. If you want to develop apps for GNOME using Lua, this is the way to do it.
I am a contributor to a multi-system video game emulator named Highscore. It's an excellent way to play all kinds of retro video games. Give it a try if you're on Linux!
I've collected many links over the years to writings I've found interesting, presented here for your enjoyment.
The software powering this website is explained in its colophon.
My preferred contact method is by email. I love receiving email and I usually respond quickly!
